One (1) Grand Prize: a Wellness Retreat with winner’s pet (cat or dog only). The prize consists of the following: the Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for winner and one (1) guest to Asheville, North Carolina for 5 days/4 nights. Prize includes round trip coach air transportation for winner and guest from a major airport near winner’s home residence to Asheville, 4 nights hotel accommodations at a pet friendly hotel (one room, double occupancy), ground transport from airport to hotel and return to airport on day of departure, and a $500 cash stipend for the winner awarded in the form of a check. Winner may opt to bring one (1) small dog or cat (must adhere to the restrictions of the airline and be 15 lbs. or less in order to accompany winner). Winner is responsible for contacting their veterinarian to obtain any necessary health certificates, paperwork etc. needed to fly their pet to Asheville. Winner must also provide the under seat carrier for their small pet. Under no circumstance will pet exceeding size restrictions that would prevent it from being carried onboard a commercial flight in an approved pet carrier that would fit under a passenger seat be permitted to travel via cargo. If winner does not have a dog/cat that meets this criteria, a $40 per day boarding fee, awarded in the form of check, will be provided to winner in lieu (only if applicable). If travel with the pet in the cabin is not possible, or the pet owner would prefer to drive to the destination, Sponsor will provide pet owner with a travel stipend of up to $1,000 to cover travel expenses in lieu of airfare and an alternate hotel location closer to winner’s home which would be of comparable value. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize trip is $3,800.00. Actual value depends on travel origin and airfare fluctuations and this actual will be used for tax reporting purposes. Any difference between the estimated ARV and the actual value will not be awarded. Winner must complete the trip by March 31, 2015. Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. Trip must be booked at least thirty (30) days prior to departure, through Sponsors designated agent. Trip is subject to availability and blackout dates. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Sweepstakes Rules, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the sole responsibility of winner. Travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and of legal age of majority in his or her state as of the date of departure, or if child is a minor, child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Travel companion must execute a liability release and where imposing such condition is legal, a publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents and if companion is a minor, parent or legal guardian will be required to execute in minor’s behalf. Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (e.g., a valid U.S. driver’s license) required for travel. Once travel guest is selected, he/she may not be substituted, except in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Airline tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles. All airline tickets are subject to flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round-trip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels, venue operators, transportation companies, prize providers or any other persons providing any Grand Prize-related service or accommodation.
