The Fann Mountains, part of the western Pamir-Alay range in Tajikistan with peaks over 5,000m, are surrounded by the Zarafshans and Gissar mountains and offer a five-day trek through rugged wilderness with alpine lakes and flowering meadows, combined with visits to the Silk Road cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, where we explore ancient architecture from the 9th to the 17th centuries.
